The My Disney Experience app and website continue to be the heart of planning Disney vacations both at home and while on vacation. Guests manage reservations, tickets and itineraries on the "My Plans" section.

You can see your day planned out, including making Lightning Lane Multi-Pass selections. Although critics say using My Disney Experience for virtually everything on Disney vacations ties us to our phones too much, others love the convenience.

In addition to My Disney Experience, guests also book a variety of phone reservations including resort stays, dining, tickets, and experiences.

According to guests, Walt Disney World experienced technical issues this morning due to Wifi being down. Wifi was restored around 9:00 am, unfortunately only to go down again around 12:00 pm. This affects the digital wait time signs, booking or changing a reservation, and joining Disney Wi-fi.

Walt Disney World guests are receiving a pop-up warning, "Pardon the inconvenience: We are currently experiencing intermittent technical issues that may affect some of our digital experiences."

Disney reassures guests, "We're actively working to resolve this issue. We apologize for any inconvenience."

Unfortunately, this not only affects Walt Disney World, but also Disneyland as well. We are curious to see if this may be a due to the widespread AWS outage this morning.

At this time navigating the Disney Parks may be a bit difficult. Disney+ subscribers are often running into issues when streaming select shows today. This is one of the looming concerns that we have with Disney pushing guests to rely more heavily on their mobile devices in the parks.

  1. This is not just Disney but an outage all over, at least in mid eastern states and effecting many different companies and websites
