This Magic Kingdom Attraction Is Closing Soon

As crowds rush to enjoy the Magic Kingdom, another attraction is set to close soon. Find out how this may affect your next trip to Walt Disney World.

Magic Kingdom Closures

As Walt Disney once said, "We keep moving forward," and that is very true at Walt Disney World. This week, the Walt Disney Company shared BIG plans for Walt Disney World over the next 10 years.

These plans greatly affect Magic Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom. Starting today, guests can see full details of three of these new expansions HERE.

Mickey's PhilharMagic

While we all understand that refurbishments must happen, these closures are more inconvenient with so many expansions taking place at the Magic Kingdom. Now, Mickey's PhilharMagic will be set to close very soon.

Mickey's Philharmagic is a 3D film that can be seen in Fantasyland inside Magic Kingdom.  Although Donald tries to steal the show, Mickey is the true star!

Guests are taken on an adventure through classic Disney films as Donald tries to regain Mickey's Sorcerer's hat. The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and the newest scene added from Pixar's Coco.

PhilharMagic Closing

Mickey's PhilharMagic will close beginning November 1, 2025, for refurbishment. The attraction is set to reopen on November 23, 2025, according to the Walt Disney World operational calendar. This is great news that it will reopen before the busy Thanksgiving crowds.

Mickey's PhilharMagic will close on November 1, 2025.

While Walt Disney World has not shared of new updates coming to this attraction, we assume this closure will simply be for routine maintenance.
