Hollywood Studios Attraction Closing Indefinitely

Disney's Hollywood Studios has many attractions currently closed, but just announced a new closure with no reopening date. Be sure to update your touring plans for this new closure.

Hollywood Studios Closures

Disney's Hollywood Studios is a bit of a mess right now. Muppet Courtyard is a demolition zone as Disney prepares to bring Monstropolis to this space.

Construction walls continue to expand over the former Animation Courtyard. Yesterday, we shared the new pathway for guests to access Toy Story Land and "The Little Mermaid-A Musical Adventure".

The construction walls are even present in Toy Story Land as land is cleared for a possible new snack stand. Guests can see current Imagineering plans for many of these new projects at this new display.

Vacation Fun

After a long day at Disney's Hollywood Studios, one of my (Donna) favorite spots to rest and enjoy cool air conditioning is the Vacation Fun theatre.

Guests can relax in adorable Mickey Mouse-themed seats and enjoy several of our favorite animated shorts featuring Mickey and Minnie Mouse. My favorite short, "Potatoland," is also featured during this film.

Also featured in this never-before-seen animation mix are clips from Pando-moninum, Couples Sweatures, Croissant de Triomphe, Entombed, Dumb Luck, Al Rojo Vivo, Yodelburg, and Outback at Ya!.

Vacation Fun Closing

After watching the film, guests can actually step into life-sized displays of a few of these animated films. Unfortunately, Vacation Fun will temporarily close on October 20, 2025.

Vacation Fun is set to close on October 20, 2025, with no reopening date given.

At this time, the reason for this closure is not stated, nor is a reopening date. Disney promises that it is "planned to open later this year."
