Closing of Muppet Vision 3D
One overlooked attraction at Disney's Hollywood Studios was Muppet Vision 3D. When this attraction closed in June 2025, fans showed up to celebrate the final days of the Muppet Courtyard.
In response, Disney promised that it would work to preserve this film and that plans were underway to bring the Muppets to Rock 'n' Roller Coaster.
To the delight of Muppet fans, young and the young at heart, runDisney created a brand new Muppet event for the runDisney 12 Ks of Christmas in honor of the Muppets' 70th Anniversary. In 2026, a full 50 years after the first Muppet Show, Disney+ will stream a special new "The Muppet Show".

My (Donna) favorite Christmas movie of all time is The Muppet Christmas Carol. I watch this several times throughout the year, and it never gets old. This classic film is underrepresented...until this year.
Disney just revealed The Muppet Christmas Carol 12-Day Countdown Calendar. This set is absolutely adorable, but the price is a bit steep at $159.99, available on the Disney Store website.
Hidden behind each window and door is a cute little plush inspired by characters from the beloved film.
There's Kermit as Bob Cratchit, Miss Piggy as Emily Cratchit, Ebenezer Scrooge, the Ghost of Christmas Past, and others! This set includes a total of 12 plush characters.

There is also a beautiful Kermit and Miss Piggy ornament from The Muppet Christmas Carol. This ornament is adorable, featuring Kermit as Bob Cratchit and Miss Piggy as Emily Cratchit.
The Muppet Christmas Carol has a new 12-Day Countdown Calendar and light-up ornament this Christmas season.
