The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is an incredible experience for young children between the ages of 3 and 12 years old. Located at Magic Kingdom and Disney Springs at Walt Disney World and at Disneyland, children are made up into their favorite princess or knight.

Knight makeovers include hair gel and a sword and shield. Princess makeovers are a bit more elaborate with make up, hair, and nails. And don't forget that pixie dust and sash!

Over the years, Disney had made a few great changes to this experience with the addition of Encanto character packages. Disney also worked to bring a more inclusive experience for all guests by offering a diversity of hair styling options and makeup color palettes.

Much-needed changes are coming to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Disney announced today that it will bring new royal makeover package options.

"We will also be rolling out new, simplified package options. These updates are coming in early October."

Beginning in early October, guests will have the opportunity to see the Fairy Godmother from Cinderella as they receive their royal makeovers. This is a rare meet and greet that is rarely offered. See more about these changes HERE.

Exciting Changes for Disney's Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

Originally, the Royal Portrait Studio in Sir Mickey's, across from the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, was an exclusive perk for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique guests. Later, the Royal Portrait Studio was available to all guests for a fun royal princess photo shoot.

However, today, September 24, 2025, a large curtain blocks the Royal Portrait Studio from all guests. A permit was filed to "install scenic and prop elements, and audio and lighting equipment." We assume that this may be in preparation for the upcoming changes at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique next month.
