What Dresses Does Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Have

Credit: Kate

Once you have selected your package, it is time to go shopping for a dress or a knight outfit. Your Fairy Godmother in training will help you find the perfect dress and accessories. The dresses have sets of accessories they pair with, but you can swap them out if you wish.

If you have brought your own dress, you can skip straight to hair styling. This is what the shirt and tutu look like if you go that route.

The dresses are divided into sections in the store depending on the package you select. So, your Fairy Godmother can easily steer you clear of the Deluxe and Signature Gowns if your little one has a Castle package.

Of course, if your child falls in love with a dress from a different collection, you can always upgrade the package. Disney is happy to take your money.

Stock is subject to change. But this is what has been available for 2025.

The Castle Collection is the largest. It took up 2 wall displays.

The most popular dresses are on the walls. These are Belle, Aurora (light pink), Cinderella, Snow White, Elsa, Anna, Elsa from Frozen II, Rapunzel, Tiana, and Ariel.

There is also a rack where you can find the Encanto Collection. And, there are several other options here such as Jasmine, Moana, Moana 2, Mulan, Tinkerblle, and Elena.

The Deluxe Collection is on a separate wall. It includes: Belle, Tiana, Cinderella, Snow White, and Aurora. They are slightly more detailed than the Castle collection. The Tiana Dress is especially beautiful.

And, finally is the Signature Collection. It is the heirloom quality dresses. There are only four: Cinderella, Aurora, Belle, and Elsa.

They are made to look like replicas of the dresses the characters wear in the parks. Here they are pictured with the Knight Package Options.

Hairstyles

What hairstyles Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
Credit: Kate

There are four standard Hairstyles to choose from at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Disneyland. I am not particularly wild about any of them, but they do tend to look nice enough most of the time.

  • Royal Braid: This style is a high bun. It comes with a braid in your choice of colors to wrap around the front of the bun. It also comes with a big Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique bow in the color of your choice of colors pinned at the back of the hair.
  • Enchanted: This is what you see most often: A high bun with a tiara and a Mickey Clip. You can also select a big Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique bow in the color of your choice instead of a tiara. You can add in a bun hairpiece.
  • Pixie Magic: This is a high ponytail that comes with a colorful ponytail hairpiece in the color of your choice and a flower crown.
  • Fantasy: This is a high curly updo created with a hairpiece in the color of your choice and a flower crown.

It is important to know that you are not supposed to substitute the pieces across packages. For example, if your child likes the Mickey Hair Clip and the colorful Ponytail, they will have to choose one or the other.

Review: Is Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Worth It

Credit: Kate

So is the experience worth it? That will entirely depend on your child. My own child had been wishing for a visit to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for nearly 2 years.

So, we made it part of her Christmas gift during our family trip to Disneyland. For her, it was completely worth it. She was so happy, and she proudly wore her dress the entire day from her 8:30 am appointment until after midnight.

We booked a very early appointment to get the most out of the day. Plus, we also had Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures at Nappa Rose booked for later that morning, and she wanted to be dressed for it.

We arrived right in time for the appointment. We had to wait a few minutes to be called to select our package and go shopping. We went with the Castle Package. The deluxe dresses weren’t much higher in quality than the Castle collection dresses, and certainly not enough to justify the price.

Shopping took longer than it probably should have because my little one was torn between dresses. It was freezing outside, so she ended up selecting Anna to stay warm. And finally, she picked her hairstyle: Enchanted.

Once we were done shopping, it was time to exit the store and wait for the Fair Godmother who would do the makeover. They were running behind, so we had time to do the Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough while we waited.

Finally, it was time for the makeover. She was escorted to the salon where her dressing room was all set up with her gown and accessories. The dress fit perfectly, which helped move things along.

Next, the Fairy Godmother and an attendant did her hair, nails, and makeup. They gave us the brush they used, the extra face gems, extra makeup, extra nail polish, and instructions for taking down her hair later.

Finally, it was time for the big reveal and a chance to look in the Magic Mirror. This was quite delightful. I wasn’t prepared to be emotional, but it was pretty touching to see her feel so happy and beautiful when she saw herself.

After the makeover, she had a photoshoot with Cinderella’s Carriage and animal friends! We got all of the photos in our PhotoPass downloads. Plus, the photographers printed out several and put them in a commemorative portfolio of sorts.

The whole thing including the photo shoot, took between 60 and 90 minutes. This worked out well.

Afterward, we emerged onto Main Street right as one of the Main Street vehicles, a trolley drawn by a white horse, pulled up. The timing was a complete coincidence, but it could not have been more perfect. She took the front seat and enjoyed a ride down Main Street with people stopping to watch and wave at the passing princess. It was magic at its finest.

Were were just in time to head to our princess breakfast. And, later we even went to see Ariel and the Princesses in Disneyland and were delighted to find Anna herself was the visiting princess. More magic.

What I would Do Differently

Credit: Kate

Honestly, I wouldn’t do much differently. I did not consider that we would need to carry around her clothes and accessories in a shopping bag for the entire rest of the day.

I might have rented a locker or taken it all back to Disneyland Hotel and put it in our room if I had planned a bit better. But instead, I carried it for her til after midnight.

Otherwise, the whole experience, while expensive, was completely worth it. We actually met a family in a ride queue who had also been to BBB that day and looked gorgeous, of course. Their child was 12, soon to be 13. Her mother told me she regretted not doing it sooner because she loved it, and now she is at the maximum age and can never do it again.

Meeting them made me even more grateful to have booked the experience. Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is not the sort of thing I would have ever cared to do as a child, but my little one is different than me. I feel fortunate to have been able to make a wish come true for her.
