Magic Kingdom is a "must-do" for many families visiting Walt Disney World, but this park is priced the highest of all 4 Theme Parks for a single-day ticket.

Along with this, the price for the Lightning Lane Multi-Pass is typically the most expensive for Magic Kingdom as well. Since guests are paying a premium price for a day at the Magic Kingdom, you will want to select the best possible date to enjoy all of the magic.

Recently, Magic Kingdom debuted the new Disney Starlight nighttime parade. Currently, this parade runs twice each night with Happily Ever After in between parade times.

Heading into this fall, the opportunity to enjoy the Disney Starlight parade decreases. As we mentioned before, Disney Starlight will not offer showtimes on Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party nights.

In previous years, we recommended visiting the Magic Kingdom on party datesto enjoy lower crowds, but if you are hoping to enjoy the Disney Starlight parade, this may not be the best strategy. This may also make the Magic Kingdom even busier on non-party nights.

Along with these 17 dates affected by Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party dates in October, Magic Kingdom will also close early for a private event. Check out the full list of dates to avoid the Magic Kingdom HERE.

Walt Disney World often adjusts operating hours based on crowd attendance. Magic Kingdom now offers additional operating hours on 8 select dates this fall.

Magic Kingdom will open one hour earlier on October 5, 7, 9, and 10, 2025. On each of these dates, the Magic Kingdom will close early for day-ticketed guests for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Magic Kingdom will now open at 8:00 am on these dates with Early Entry at 7:30 am.

On October 11, 2025, Magic Kingdom will open an hour early at 8:00 am (7:30 am Early Entry) and also close an hour later at 11:00 pm.

Magic Kingdom will also stay open even later on October 6th and 8th, closing at 11:00 pm on each night. Our pirate hunch is that these longer park hours may be due to higher crowds expected for Fall Break.
