Disney World Announces Extra Magic for Summer 2026

Walt Disney World brought the magic back in a BIG way with "Cool Kid Summer." These limited-time summer activities throughout Walt Disney World will last until September 1, 2025. Check out our full guide to these activities HERE.

The best part is that many of these great activities can be enjoyed indoors or in the shade. Guests can enjoy cool air conditioning and great activities, which sounds like a perfect combination.

On a recent trip, we enjoyed so many roaming characters thanks to "Cool Kid Summer" that it felt as though the missing Disney magic had finally returned to the Parks.

As this summer is coming to a close, we are already sad to say goodbye to "Cool Kid Summer". The best part is that Walt Disney World has already promised that "Cool Kid Summer" will return for 2026.

These are some of our favorite aspects of "Cool Kid Summer". The magic extneded to Disney's Animal Kingdom with fun characters, entertainment, and even a limited edition Wilderness Explorer badge to earn.

Magic Kingdom had special offerings in each land with special characters, fun crafts, and even acrobatic acts. At EPCOT, Goofy took over CommuniCore Hall and offered a summer camp vibe. At Disney's Hollywood Studios, Animation Courtyard offered crafts and so many great character interactions.

For 2025, an added bit of Disney magic, guests staying at Art of Animation, Pop Century Resort, Caribbean Beach Resort, and Wilderness Lodge this summer will also see more activities for families, including posted character appearances.
