Great New Change for Magic Kingdom's Early Entry
One of the biggest perks to staying at a Walt Disney World Resort is Early Entry. Find out how this perk just got even better at the Magic Kingdom.
Disney Early Entry

It is important to note that the posted park times may not be the actual park times. Guests staying at Disney World Resorts can enter all four theme parks 30 minutes earlier than the official park opening.
First introduced in 2021, Early Theme Park Entry allows guests staying at Walt Disney World Resorts to enter all 4 Theme Parks 30 minutes early. Originally, all other guests were held at the park entrance
Early Entry has changed a bit over the years. Most recently, Early Entry changes affected EPCOT when Test Track reopened, and an even earlier entry at the Magic Kingdom. Even Disney's Hollywood Studios adjusts Early Entry for "Cool Kid Summer."
Early Entry at Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom offers so many exhilarating and nostalgic attractions that garner high wait times. Disney Resort guests can enjoy lower wait times for the most popular attractions in Tomorrowland and Fantasyland.
Previously Early Entry Guests heading towards Fantasyland would be held at a rope next to Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe. When the rope was lowered, guests would rush to their first attraction.
On Friday, July 25, 2025, when we visited Magic Kingdom, we enjoyed a new experience as we went to enjoy 7 Dwarfs Mine Train for Early Entry.
7 Dwarfs Early Entry Change

As we walked towards Fantasyland around 7:50 am, we noticed that there was no rope separating guests from Fantasyland before Early Entry, which officially began at 8:30 am.
Early Entry change for 7 Dwarfs Mine Train
We simply walked and joined the growing queue for 7 Dwarfs Mine Train. This was a pleasant surprise. We are unsure if this will continue, but this was a much more magical experience.

Instead of having an early start times with Disney World so hot durning the summer months keep the parks open all night. It can’t be fun for families when the temps are 90 F day times?
That is a really good point!
