Two Buses Destroyed in a Fire at Universal

Two buses went up in flames at Universal Orlando Resort today. Here are the details that have emerged so far.

Fire Near Epic Universe

Today, Friday, July 25, 2025, shortly before 11:00 am, guests of Universal Orlando Resort were in for a startling sight. Smoke was billowing into the sky near Epic Universe, Universal Orlando Resort's newly opened theme park, and Stella Nova and Terra Luna resorts.

It soon became evident that the source of the concerning smoke was a fire. Emergency responders rushed to the scene to fight the flames.

Universal Orlando Buses on Fire

The fire engulfed and destroyed two Epic Universe buses. As a result, both buses are damaged, seemingly beyond repair.

The fire started at the bus depot near Epic Universe, where the two buses were parked. It is unclear what caused the fire at this time.

Fortunately, the Orange County Fire Department arrived in time to limit the damage to the two buses. Responders extinguished the flames quickly, before they could impact any other property at the bus depot.

Was Anyone Injured

It is fortunate for guests that the fire did not directly impact any of Universal Orlando's three theme parks or the water park. It is even more fortuitous that no one has been reported injured as a result of the fire.

No injuries have been reported from the fire that claimed two Universal buses.

Universal released a statement saying that the park's representatives are grateful to the Orange County Fire Rescue Department for their swift response.
