Disneyland 70th Anniversary Celebration
The Walt Disney Company is gearing up to celebrate a major milestone! Soon, it will have been 70 years since Disney opened up a whole new world of magic to the public by welcoming guests to its very first theme park!
This momentous celebration will be met with all kinds of fun! And part of the fun is a new look for the iconic Disney Castle at the center of it all!
Of course, there is also a parade to look forward to, a new look to the castle, as well as an all-new World of Color show! And the Jonas Brothers have even recorded an all-new song for the occasion!
"Walt Disney - A Magical Life"
"For the first time ever, when it debuts in 2025, you'll actually be able to see Walt Disney through the magic of Audio-Animatronics technology in 'Walt Disney - A Magical Life'."
"Walt Disney - A Magical Life" will first debut inside the Main Street Opera House at Disneyland. After its initial run, the attraction will play in rotation with "Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln."
The attraction is set to open on July 17, 2025, the official date of the 70th Anniversary.
Virtual Queue
"Walt Disney - A Magical Life" will use a Virtual Queue when it opens at Disneyland Park on July 17th. Guests can request to enter the queue only once per day.
A Virtual Queue will be used for "Walt Disney - A Magical Life" when it opens on July 17, 2025.
There will be two Virtual Queue drops per day, one at 7 AM and one at noon. The 7 am Virtual Queue, Guests must have a park reservation for Disneyland Park with a one-park ticket or a park reservation for Disneyland Park with a Park Hopper ticket. The noon Virtual Queue Guests in Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park with a Park Hopper ticket can join the queue.
