Details Announced for EPCOT's 2025 International Festival of the Holidays

It's Christmas in July, well, almost! Disney has shared exciting details about what is coming this holiday season. Read on to see what Disney has planned!

One Holiday Storyteller Disappears From Festival of the Holidays

The holiday season is truly magical at EPCOT. The International Festival of the Holidays is an amazing experience where guests can enjoy the beautiful Candlelight Processional, try delicious holiday food booths, take part in a fun scavenger hunt and cookie stroll, and enjoy great entertainment!

The festival runs from November 28th through December 30th.

"JOYFUL! Celebration of the Season" can be found in CommuniCore Plaza, which features both classic songs and updated songs. You will also find the Voices of Liberty dressed in their signature Victorian attire, as Dickens Carolers inside The American Adventure Pavilion.

Holiday Storytellers

New Details for the 2024 Festival of the Holidays at Epcot

The Holiday Storytellers are around the World Showcase sharing festive traditions and holiday tales in their respective countries! Storytellers will include:

  • Mexico Pavilion - Las Posadas Celebration 
  • Norway Pavilion - A Mischievous Magical Barn Santa 
  • China Pavilion - Chinese Lion Dancer 
  • Italy Pavilion - La Befana 
  • Japan Pavilion - Daruma Storyteller 
  • Between the Morocco and France Pavilions - Hanukkah Storyteller 
  • France Pavilion - Père Noël 
  • United Kingdom Pavilion - Father Christmas 
  • Canada Pavilion - Canadian Holiday Voyageurs

Candlelight Processional

Everything You Need to Know about EPCOT's Candlelight Processional

The popular Candlelight Processional returns at the America Gardens Theatre. This approximately 50-minute show is held every night at 5 p.m., 6:45 p.m., and 8:15 p.m. Guests are treated to celebrity narrators who retell the story of Christmas.

Pirate tip: The seating is first-come, first-served, and will fill up fast, so plan to arrive early!

Holiday Kitchens and Cookie Stroll

One of everyone's favorite parts of any festival at EPCOT is the unique food and drink options! The Holiday Kitchens will return as well, bringing festive holiday dishes from around the world.

The menus are still being finalized and have not been announced.

However, Disney did share that the Holiday Cookie Stroll will also return with favorites like Coffee-Mocha Cookie, which is topped with Coffee-infused Buttercream, Cocoa Nibs and Chocolate-covered Espresso Beans.

Scavenger Hunt and Living With The Land Overlay

Guests can partake in Olaf's Holiday Tradition Expedition Scavenger Hunt again this year! This scavenger hunt sends adventurers on an expedition throughout World Showcase. You will need to find Olaf in 13 different spots where he has found 13 holiday traditions, one in each pavilion around World Showcase.

Living with the Land is once again receiving a festive holiday overlay that has sparkling Christmas lights! Be sure to check out the overlay as it is a unique way to experience it, along with taking in the amazing work of the Disney World horticulturalists.
