It's Tuesday! And that means a fun "pin drop" is happening in Disney Parks and at the Disneystore.com. It is a lot of excitement for those who love Disney Pin Trading.

Each Tuesday, new limited releases and open edition pins appear in Disney Parks and often on The Disney Store's webpage. This week, pin collectors were excited to add a new installment in a special series to their collections.

The Winnie the Pooh and Roo Pin Set from the darling Hundred Acre Wood Series was scheduled to go live on July 1, 2025. But, something unexpected happened!

Typically, the new Disney pins appear on the Disney Store website several hours before you can actually add them to your cart. Then, the sale goes live at 11:00 a.m. EST.

However, last week, there was something a little different. A virtual queue popped up for those who wished to shop.

And this week, something entirely different happened. The sale of the new pins went live at Midnight! A few lucky collectors noticed this and were able to snag the Winnie the Pooh and Roo Pin Set hours before it was supposed to go live.

Of course, this left many collectors who were planning to try for a chance to purchase the set at its usual release time feeling shocked and disappointed. The set was sold out long before it was supposed to be listed for sale online.

Is this Change Permanent

Disney has really shaken things up over the past two weeks. And, honestly, at this time, there is no way to know whether this change is permanent or whether it was a glitch or a one-off situation.

Pin traders will have to wait and see what happens next Tuesday. In the meantime, if you missed the pin, we hope you are able to find someone to trade it to you!

  1. There was no mention of a virtual queue. In fact, the website said the pins would be available at 8am pacific time. Yet, they were marked as sold out at 7:50am when I checked. It’s awful. Disney needs to do better.

    1. Thank you for reading. I was surprised too! I checked at 6 est and was surprised to see it was already sold out. I wish it had been clear communication so that those collectors wishing for this set could be ready!
