Pin Trading
Disney pins have their own fan base. Dreamers of all ages enjoy collecting them. Moreover, many Disney fans who enjoy collecting Disney pins also enjoy Pin Trading!
Currently, Guests can find pin boards in select locations throughout the parks. There, they can swap pins. Of course, pin trading is subject to rules. For example, Guests can only trade official Disney pins.
Recently, Disneyland established new guidelines for pin trading, which you can read about HERE. However, now Disney World has its own pin trading announcement.

However, this announcement is a happy one! Instead of placing limits on trading, Disney World is expanding pin trading by bringing back a fan-favorite tradition!
Cast Member to Guest pin trading is officially coming back! We are so delighted that this fun opportunity for interaction and fun between collectors and Cast Members will once again be a part of the Disney experience.
This is a practice that was once popular in Walt Disney World. Collectors once enjoyed being able to make swaps with Cast Members sporting their own lanyards. However, it is one of the many things that vanished and did not return when Disney reopened.
