With over 30 Disney World resorts, there are a lot of parking spaces for Guests to park their cars. Resort overnight parking is free for all Guests staying at that hotel.

Standard theme park parking is also free for Guests of Disney World hotels and Annual Passholders. Guests at Disney Deluxe Resorts, Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, and Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort can enjoy valet parking for a fee.

Many times, guests hope to drive and park at a different Walt Disney World Resort than they are staying at to enjoy dining or shopping.

Although seasoned visitors will tell you Disney is nearly always crowded these days. But, there is no type of crowd like Disney Holiday Crowds. As we head into the 4th of July week, Disney now issues a warning for guests with upcoming Resort reservations.

This warning is issued to Guests staying at resorts near Magic Kingdom, such as the Grand Floridian, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Disney’s Fort Wilderness, and Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

“To help make sure you and all resort guests staying with us have enough parking and amenities, we’ll only be allowing guests listed on a resort room, dining, or recreation reservation to park at the resort.

“Those (guests) with dining or recreation reservations will only be permitted to arrive two hours before their reservation time. All others, including those visiting registered resort guests, will be asked to park offsite at a different location and take transportation to the resort.”

These restrictions are not always in place. This will help limit guests (without a resort reservation) who hoped to enjoy “Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky from a Magic Kingdom Resort.
