Soft Opening Happening NOW for This Fan-Favorite Disney Attraction

A fan-favorite Disney attraction will be opening soon, and a soft opening is happening now. Find out what attraction and when it officially opens!

Tiki Room

Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room is a round theater where tropical birds, tiki gods, and beautiful flowers come to life! It is a South Seas musical celebration.

The Audio-Antimonitronics technology used in the Tiki Room was first introduced to the world in 1963. This technology allowed animatronics to synchronize movement, and audio, which helped bring along some of our favorites like “Haunted Mansion” and “It’s a Small World.”

The 4 talking macaws are joined by over 225 Audio-Animatronics for this vibrant sing-along show!

Closure

The Tiki Room at Disneyland Park closed for refurbishment in April. During the closure, the Tangaroa Tree was rebuilt. It was also reported that the attraction was getting touch-ups on its sound, lighting, and show systems.

The attraction is scheduled to reopen to all Guests on July 3rd. This is exciting news as it is ahead of the July 4th weekend and before the start of the 70th Disneyland Anniversary Celebration! When it reopens, the attraction is listed as operating from park open to park close.

Soft Opening

It was reported that the Enchanted Garden opened a few days ago letting guests once again enjoy the garden. This space is used as a pre-show area along with seating for the Tiki Juice Bar.
