The very first Coco attraction will be coming soon. Check out locations and our first-ever look at this attraction.
First Ever Coco Attraction

Guests have asked for a Coco attraction for quite some time. At times, it seems that these dreams are left unheard, but not this time.
Back in August 2024, a brand new Coco attraction was announced during the “Horizons” showcase at the D23 Disney Parks panel.
This first-ever Coco attraction will be a boat ride, and music will play a key role in this attraction. Of course, guests can enjoy the best animatronics to bring this story to life.
Location for Coco Attraction

At first, this new Coco attraction was announced to break ground in 2026 at Disney’s California Adventure. Disney just announced that work will begin earlier than planned this fall.
This new Coco attraction will be built near Paradise Gardens Park and Pixar Pier, in areas that are predominantly backstage today. Disney also revealed brand new concept art for this space (as featured in the photo above.)
Guests can enjoy this immersive experience as the rich culture comes to life. You will join Miguel on a trip to the land of the dead.
What we know so far

This new attraction will help fulfill Walt Disney’s dream that the Disney Parks will never stop changing and growing. Disney shares, “We’re bringing our skeletal cast of characters to life in a big way through the latest Audio-Animatronics technology. These figures will appear in ways you’ll have to see to believe.”
The new Coco attraction will break ground this fall.
We do not yet know a name for this attraction, but we can only hope that perhaps a similar attraction can one day find a place at EPCOT.
