Gideon’s Bakehouse is an extremely popular place to grab treats in Walt Disney World. The Disney Springs bakery serves delectable bakery items, including cakes and cookies as well as caffeinated brews. The nitro cold brews are especially popular and pair well with the unique cookie creations.
Gideon’s is so popular that often long lines form. Sometimes the line even moves to a virtual queue. But you can typically beat the lines if you follow this advice.
People often stop to chat with me (Kate) while I am in the cookie line to ask if it is worth the wait. The answer? If you love delicious, soft, chewy cookies, then you won’t have regrets. It is especially worth it if you like chocolate chip cookies and ice cream, and can catch hot cookie hour.
A Big Change at Gideon’s Bakehouse
Typically, Gideon’s offers the standard menu plus a monthly special treat! Fans are accustomed to being able to visit and enjoy a special cookie for a full month.
However, Gideon’s Bakehouse is changing things up for the month of June! There will not be a special monthly cookie! Instead, you will find a different special treat every single week!
That’s right. June is going to keep you on your toes! See what is in store for you and whether your travel plans and your tastebuds align.
Gideon’s Bakehouse June Cookie Schedule
Do you want to know what the limited edition cookies are and when to get them? Here is what is in store each week:
- Week 1: Coconut Caramel Chip– a Classic Chocolate Chip Cookie with Homemade Salted Caramel and Coconut Cream topped with Shaved Toasted Coconut
- Week 2: Mint Cookies & Cream– This special cookie appeared for one day in 2023, and now it is coming back. It is a Cookies & Cream cookie infused with mint and topped with Andes Mint pieces
- Week 3: Maple Walnut Chocolate Chip– a Chocolate Chip cookie mixed with Maple Syrup, Candied Walnuts, and Cinnamon Nutmeg Sugar.
- Week 4: White Chocolate Caramel Macadamia Nut– a White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookie with house-made Salted Caramel and a coating of delicious Macadamia Nut Crumble.
Gideon’s Bakehouse will have a different sepcial cookie each week for the month of June.
Limited Edition Cake slices will also be on the menu. And don’t forget to try the Cookies & Cream Cold Brew.
