New Disney World Restaurant Just Switched to a Walk-Up List Only

Disney first introduced the "Walk-Up List" back in 2020. This allows you to check wait times and possibly be able to dine there without an advanced dining reservation.

Groups with 7 people or less can join the waitlist from the mobile app. You click on Reserve Dining in the My Disney Experience app. Then you select the party size and today's date. You cannot join a walk-up waitlist for a future date.

You then select "Hungry Now? Dine without a reservation by clicking Join a Walk-up list." There are over 50 dining locations across the Walt Disney World Resort that can offer a "Walk-up List"; however, availability is often unavailable based upon high demand.

Hurly-Burly Walk-up List

Disney reserves the right to add and remove this feature without notice. We saw this back in July 2026 for both The Beak and Barrel (Magic Kingdom) and Geo-82 (EPCOT).

Disney just added a "Walk-up list" for the new Hurly Burly Lounge opening tomorrow, October 1, 2026, along Disney's Boardwalk. Hurly-Burly will be welcoming to Guests, both young and young at heart. Disney shares, "During the afternoon, guests can drop by for family-friendly activities like trivia and other games led by a charismatic host."

By night (beginning at 9 pm) Hurly-Burly will transition into a live music venue, welcoming guests 21-and-over to unwind with classic, coastal-inspired cocktails and tasty light bites, while enjoying a variety of musical entertainment that perfectly complements the BoardWalk's other unique offerings."

Hurly-Burly Reservations

There are quite a few unique food options and drink options both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. You can see the full menu HERE.

Hurly-Burly will only offer a "Walk-up list" when it opens tomorrow, October 1, 2026.

Guests can also grab select beverages at the Hurly-Burly walk-up window. Since Hurly-Burly will not offer advance dining reservations, the My Disney Experience app "Walk-up List will be invaluable if you hope to enjoy this new lounge.
