Disney has just shared even more details about its newest resort hotel, Disney's Lakeshore Lodge. Check out the latest details shared.
Disney's Lakeshore Lodge Opening
Disney Vacation Club is in the process of building its newest resort hotel, Disney's Lakeshore Lodge. Disney announced that this new resort would open on July 1, 2027!
Disney stated that the resort is "inspired by the majesty of nature and its enduring influence on Disney artists."
Disney's Lakeshore Lodge will have floor-to-ceiling windows that will help this resort's design connect to the Disney's animated stories that are inspired by the great outdoors. This will include inspiration from Bambi, Pocahontas, and Brother Bear.
A Look At Two New Spaces
Disney's Lakeshore Lodge will offer floor-to-ceiling windows that lets Guests see the beauty of nature as soon as they arrive. The lobby is inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios' Pocahontas.
Guests will find a shimmering fiberoptic river will illuminate the floor. This "river" will flow around a custom bronze centerpiece that was designed by Walt Disney Imagineering. Guests will see many faces of Disney animated storytelling throughout the lobby. There is also a blown glass Colors of the Wind sculpture that has hundreds of suspended glass leaves.
Lakeshore Lodge will offer a lounge called Branch & Brush. This lounge will offer handcrafted cocktails and amazing views of Bay Lake.
The lounge space will have enchanting artwork, natural colors, and rich colors along with a color-changing chandelier. Branch & Brush will offer Guests the opportunity to enjoy the wonder of nature along with the magic of Disney storytelling.
When You Can Book!
Current DVC Members will get first dibs on bookings beginning October 6th. You can see when Annual Passholders and all other Guests can book HERE.

Disney's Lakeshore Lodge will officially open July 1, 2027. General booking opens October 8, 2027.
No details have been shared on when DVC points will go on sale or when Members can book with points for Disney's Lakeshore Lodge.
