This Disney Resort Bus Stop Reopens After Multi-Month Closure

Many Disney World Guests take bus transportation to and from the parks. We have good news for Guests staying at this Disney Resort as one popular bus stop has reopened!

Guests will take in the American frontier with all different types of wildlife including deer, rabbits, ducks, and armadillos that will roam the resort. Fort Wilderness Campground is commonly known as “The Fort.” The campsites are in a category of their own when booking, and the cabins are now part of the Disney Vacation Club.

Temporary Bus Stop

The Settlement Bus Depot was temporarily relocated for a multi-month construction project. It has been speculated the construction is for a new DVC Welcome Home Center. The temporary bus stop was located in the parking lot next to Pioneer Hall.

Guests were instructed to follow the WDW bus signs to locate the temporary bus station. The temporary location was about a two to three-minute slow walk beyond the original bus station.

Settlement Bus Depot Reopens

It has been reported that the Settlement Bus Depot has reopened! This is great news for those staying at The Fort.

Be sure to still budget extra time if you are taking the Orange bus route.  Disney has recently combined the Orange and Purple bus routes into one route, Orange.
