Some people say their favorite thing about Walt Disney World is the rides. But for some people, it’s the food.

While not all Disney food is great, some of it is truly magical! There are some bites that are so good you might be tempted to book a return trip just to savor them all over again!

Some people love looking for the best Disney Snacks. In fact, you have probably heard a lot about Disney’s most popular snacks like Dole Whip, Cookies from Gideon’s Bakehouse, beignets, Sleepy Hollow Waffles, and Cheeseburger Spring Rolls. But there is one amazing and elusive snack that no one is talking about.

The Most Amazing Mini Doughnuts

Unfortunately, you will only find one of Disney’s very best snacks in one place. The snack no one is talking about is Mini Doughnuts with your choice of a trio of dipping sauces.

This amazing snack can be found at Mini Donuts by Joffrey’s Coffee at Blizzard Beach. There is a singular stand near the front of the park across from Lottawatta Lodge. You will be able to smell the unmistakable scent of fried dough when you get close.

People line up for these fresh, hot, deliciously sweet treats and for good reason. They are easily the best doughnuts on Disney Property, and one of the best sweet treats overall.

What’s So Good About Them?

I (Kate) don’t even like doughnuts in real life. I especially don’t like doughnuts on a hot day at a water park. Yet I unexpectedly LOVED these mini doughnuts. If you are going to splurge for sweets, this is a worthy splurge.

One nice thing about them is that they are served fresh and hot. They don’t ever end up sitting under the heat lamp for long because people are constantly buying them up. The team is always baking up fresh new ones.

Plus, this is one of the rare sugary Disney treats that is sweet but not overly sweet. They are “melt-in-your-mouth” sweet and taste as good as they smell. If you have a sweet tooth, but not a “I want a cup of Disney cupcake frosting and a spoon” sweet tooth, these are going to be right for you.

Ranking The Dipping Sauces

You can order dipping sauce to accompany your doughnuts. While it is possible to enjoy the doughnuts plain, the dipping sauces can really add a nice note to them.

The sauces come in three flavors: Chocolate, White Chocolate, and Raspberry. My kids and I ordered all three for research, and these were the results.

The chocolate sauce is identical to the chocolate dipping sauce you can get with churros or mini churros. It honestly is not my favorite chocolate. It isn’t as rich as I’d prefer, and is a lot like Hershey’s syrup. It was our unanimous least favorite, even for the chocolate lover in the group.

The white chocolate sauce is better than the chocolate sauce. And it took second place for our group. But the unanimous favorite was the raspberry sauce. It added just the right little zing to the doughnuts.

Be sure to order a sauce to go along with your doughnuts.

You can also make a sauce blend, and we tried all the combinations. If you attempt this, grab a few extra napkins. The kid-approved favorite was white chocolate raspberry.

How Many Doughnuts To Order

When you order these doughnuts, you have 2 choices. You can get 1/2 a dozen or a full dozen. They are pretty small. As you can see, they fit inside the dip container.

Don’t make my mistake. Since I was traveling with just my 2 children, I ordered a half dozen, which was 2 for each of us. This ended up being a mistake because it left us all wanting more. I think 3 each is the perfect amount, but 4 is starting to push being a little much.

I don’t like to be uncomfortably full of food on a hot day in the parks, but in this case, it might just be worth it. Plus, there is a small price break if you order 12 from the start. So instead of ordering 6 now and 6 later when you ultimately want more, consider jumping in with two feet.

The Doughnut Cart is also conveniently near one of the Lazy River entrances. So, if you overdo it, you can lounge about until you recover.
