A New Character Meet and Greet Has Arrived at Magic Kingdom

Country Bear Musical Jamboree
The Country Bears are the stars of the Disney Parks animatronic show The Country Bear Musical Jamboree. You will find this beloved show in Frontier Land in Magic Kingdom.
The attraction closed in January 2024 for refurbishment. It reopened on July 17, 2024.
New Looks and New Names
When the Country Bear Jamboree reopened, it was also renamed to the Country Bear Musical Jamboree. The refurbishment gave the attraction new images, Disney inspired musical numbers, a Nashville vibe, as well as adding "love into the attraction and characters."
One character even received a name change with the refurbishment, he is now know as Romeo McGrowl.
Unfortunately, Romeo McGrowl wasn't meeting Guests when the attraction reopened, but that has now changed.
Romeo McGrowl Meet and Greet
Today, Disney shared that a new meet and greet has arrived at the Magic Kingdom. Romeo McGrowl is now greeting and signing autographs for Guests!
Romeo McGrowl is now meeting Guests near Grizzly Hall in the Magic Kingdom.

Romeo McGrowl will join the rest of the bears that have been greeting Guests since the new show debuted, which includes Big Al, Wendell, and Shaker.
The Country Bears are roaming characters, which means they walk around and interact with Guests. Be sure to look for the Country Bears (now including Romeo McGrowl) roaming around Frontierland periodically throughout the day.
