Surprise Star Wars Characters Meet at Disney World
Often, Walt Disney World misses out on the most exciting characters. Today, Star Wars Fans were greeted with some unexpected characters. You don't want to miss this!
Star Wars Characters
Last year, Disneyland received two great character interactions. For Season of the Force 2024, Sabine Wren and Walt Disney Imagineering's BDX droids appeared in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland.
Disney confirmed that the BDX Droids will come to Walt Disney World, Disneyland Paris, and Tokyo Disney Resort later this year. An arrival date is not yet set. See more changes coming to Galaxy's Edge HERE.
Although we were hoping that they would land in time for May the 4th. These BDX Droids require a few upgrades before landing in Disney's Hollywood Studios.
May the 4th Characters
Today, May the 4th, there is quite a line forming at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. A rare character came out for a special meet and greet.
Fans of the Star Wars: Rebels series recognize the droid Chopper from this series. Chopper is now greeting guests out in the Launch Bay Cantina. There is quite the line for this rare meet and greet which leads to the back of the museum.
Cast Members share that this meet and greet will be available on and off through 6:00 pm.
R2D2 Meet and Greet
R2D2 is also greeting on the "light side" today. The line to see R2D2 was short earlier this morning possibly because guests were not expecting him to be out.
