This Multi-Month Refurbishment is Now Complete

It seems like Disney has announced multiple upcoming closures for refurbishments. However, one multi-month refurbishment is now complete.

All Star Movies

Disney’s All-Star Movies is one of five Value Resorts at Walt Disney World Resort. The resort is themed after iconic Disney movies. You’ll see giant statues from popular film franchises like Toy Story, Fantasia, 101 Dalmatians, and more in each section of the resort.

Value Resorts offer great themes and budget-friendly options.

Value resorts are the cheapest of the Disney World resorts, so if you are visiting Disney on a tight budget, you will want to start by pricing out the value resorts. Because of the larger-than-life statues and Disney characters throughout the resort, families with young children love value resorts.

Fantasia Pool Refurbishment

The Fantasia Pool is the main pool at Disney’s All Star Movie Resort. Disney originally announced that the Fantasia Pool would undergo refurbishment from January through April 2024.

Disney pushed back the Fantasia Pool refurbishment from 2024 to 2025.

In 2023, Disney announced that the refurbishment would be pushed back a year. The refurbishment was moved to January 2025 through April 2025.

Now Open!

We now have good news about the Fantasia pool! This pool is now open for Guests to enjoy.

The Fantasia Pool at Disney’s All Star Movies reopened on Friday, April 4th

As previously mentioned, the pool was expected to be closed through April. However, Disney has finished up its routine maintenance early and opened the pool ahead of schedule! The pool began welcoming back swimmers on Friday, April 4th.
