We Have Some Disappointing News for One Pixar Offering

Disappointing news is never the best way to start the day, but you need to be aware of this Pixar offering in case it alters your plans.

Celebrate all things Pixar during Pixar Fest! Running now until August 4, enjoy parades, characters, special food, and so much more.

Most of the activities are taking place at California Adventure. However, a Pixar Pals Playtime party will take place at Disneyland Park along with other activites at Downtown Disney.

The newly renovated Pixar Place Hotel would be a great hotel to stay at during Pixar Fest! You can even meet Bing Bong and Joe Gardner there.

Disappointing News

Club Pixar is a special offering that takes place during Pixar Fest at Disneyland Resort. It is located in Hollywood Backlot section of Disney California Adventure.

Unfortunately, this offering will no longer include the DJ and dancers. The changes were reportedly made based on guest feedback and operational considerations.

Unofficially, we are hearing this change occured due to the Disneyland Resort entertainment Cast Members with Actors’ Equity. unionization that recently took place.

What does this mean for you?

However, it’s not all sad news. Club Pixar is not completely closing. Games, photo opportunities, and other offerings will continue daily from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

Club Pixar will still have some offerings – just no DJ and dancers.

At this time, Disney has not announced if anything will replace the DJ and dancers, or if it will remain a space for games and photo ops. Pixar Fest runs through August 4, 2024.
