Donald Duck is turning 90, and his big birthday is being celebrated on June 9th. Disney has announced how the #1 duck will be celebrated all around Disney Parks! Here are the details so far.
Donald is Turning 90
It is hard to believe that Donald Duck is turning 90 years old! The popular Disney character celebrates his birthday on June 9, 2024! Of course, Walt Disney joked that he liked to celebrate Donald Duck’s birthday every Friday the 13th.
His June 9th birthday aligns with the 1934 release of his on-screen debut in The Wise Little Hen. This story was part of the Silly Symphonies series of theatrical cartoon shorts.
Donald has since appeared in multiple movies, animated shorts, TV series, specials, books, and theme park attractions! He has become one of the most recognizable and beloved characters there is.
Celebrate At Disneyland
You can get all sorts of treats to celebrate Donald Duck around Disneyland. First up is a Donald Duck Cake Pop at Trolley Treats and Candy Palace and Candy Kitchen at Disneyland Resort. It is available until June 16.
If you are visiting a little later in the month, you can snag a Donald Birthday Cookie at GCH Craftsman Grill at Disney’s Grand California Hotel & Spa. It is available from June 9 through July 28.
You will also find Donald’s birthday cake at Hearthstone Lounge at Disney’s Grand California Hotel & Spa It will be available June 9 through July 28.

Celebrate at Walt Disney World
