Disney Announces the Opening of the New Gateway to Discovery

Something new is coming to Walt Disney World. Here is everything we know about the location and the opening timeline of the New Gateway to Discovery!

Recently, Disney made a surprising announcement promising the opening of a brand new area to relax and discover new parts of the magic called Gateway to Discovery. Disney promised more details in 2024, and that time has come.

Ultimately, Gateway to Discovery- a Disney Vacation Club Welcome Home Center is a space that serves as an interactive portal to discover new vacation destinations with Disney Vacation Club. However, part of it will be an exclusive members-only area.

A space on the second floor will house a DVC Member-exclusive lounge. Here, DVC Members and their Guests can gather and unwind.

DVC Members can enjoy other such Lounges around Disney Parks. These include ese include the Top of the World Lounge at Bay Lake Tower as well as the EPCOT DVC Member Lounge in the Imagination Pavillion. Members enjoy refreshments, nice views, and a place to get away from it all in these spaces.

When and Where to Visit

If you wish to visit Gateway to Discovery, simply head to Disney Springs! You will find it in the heart of Disney Springs, which is the Town Center area.

It is most convenient to the Lime garage and the bus drop-off. You will see it near Francescas, Frontera Cocina, and the Disney Springs Welcome Center.
