End Date Now Set for Soarin’ Over California

If you love Soarin’ Over California or miss Soarin’ Around the World, we have a big date for you. Find out when the last day will be to enjoy Soarin’ Over California at Walt Disney World.

Back in September 2023, Disney surprised us with news that the original Soarin’ Over California is returning to EPCOT in Walt Disney World in celebration of Disney100. 

Fans of the original version of the attraction will once again have a chance to hop aboard and smell the oranges! On September 22, 2023, Soarin’ Over California delighted guests once more!

End Date

Disney shared that this was just a limited-time experience. An additional signage was added to the attraction sign with the Disney 100 emblem. Many thought that the end date for this special overlay may coincide with the announced end of the Disney 100 celebrations, on December 31, 2023.

As that date passed, Soarin’ Over California was still offered. Today, Disney announced an official end date for Soarin’ Over California on February 27, 2024.

Starting on February 28, 2024, Soarin’ Around the World will be available once again. This was a fun change for this attraction, and we hope that Soarin’ Over California may return in the future.

This would be a fun addition to EPCOT festivals such as it is over at Disney’s California Adventure Park. Attraction overlays seem to be lacking at EPCOT, and this could help bring added magic to EPCOT festivals.
