Restaurants on Disney World property tend to open early in the morning and close late in the evening. However, one dining location will have altered hours soon. Check out all the details here so you can be prepared.
Closing Early
No one likes to hear a restaurant will have altered hours. It may certainly affect your dining plans while on vacation, especially if you plan to enjoy the restaurant more than once.
Enjoying a restaurant more than once is common for those who like to get breakfasts or late night meals at their hotel. It can be a great way to kick off the day or unwind after a long park day.
Unfortunately, one restaurant located on Disney World property will be adjusting its operating hours.
Garden Gallery Marketplace
On February 27, 28, and 29 2024, Garden Gallery Marketplace will close at 10:30 am. The breakfast buffet is typically served daily from 7:00 to 11:00 am. Hot items include eggs, bacon, pancakes, and more while cold items feature fruit and yogurt.
In the evening, Garden Gallery Marketplace offers pizza, soups and salads, sandwiches, steak and more in a Takeout setting from 5:00 to 10:00 pm. Unfortunately, it seems as if dinner will not available for these dates in addition to breakfast being cut short
Garden Gallery Marketplace is located at Shades of Green. Shades of Green is the hotel owned by the Department of Defense. It is located across from the Polynesian Resort.
Alternate Option
Fortunately, you do have an option at the hotel that serves many of the same types of food. I (Monica) enjoy eating at Evergreens. It’s a sports bar, but children are welcome in the restaurant portion.
