Disney’s New Accommodations
Who doesn’t love to see Disney open new hotels, refurbish rooms, or add on to its existing portfolio of resorts? Disney has been busy the last few years refreshing rooms and resorts. You can see some hotels that are still in need of love HERE.
Disney World’s latest project is replacing the old cabins at Fort Wilderness with new ones! We can expect to see 350 new cabins along with expanded dining options, walking trails, and a pool.
This DVC resort will be the 17th Disney Vacation Club Resort and is projected to open in Summer 2024. The Fort offers a unique way to experience Walt Disney World Resort. It really is a hidden gem!
Important Dates to Remember
The first round of Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort will open on July 1. Another group of cabins will open later in July, with additional groups opening throughout the year.
Disney just shared some key dates to keep in mind if you want to book one of the brand-new cabins. First, on March 19, DVC Members can begin to make rental reservations online or by calling Member Services.
Next, March 20 marks the date Annual Pasholders can start booking rental reservations. You will have to call in for this. Finally, all Guests can make reservations online or by calling on March 21.
