Journey of Water
Recently, Disney’s new Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana opened in World Nature in EPCOT. The addition of the attraction marks an important change for EPCOT as it introduces opportunities for interactive fun and play beyond the rides.
Disney describes the attraction as a place to explore the wonders of water along a lush trail that’s fun for all ages—based on the Disney animated film Moana. But it is so much more than just a walk-through if you are looking for little splashes of joy. Guests can actually interact with and influence the behavior of the water as they make their way through Journey of Water.
Plus, there are plenty of options to get soaked if you wish. Or, you can stay dry. And you might want to stay dry until after you grab some exciting new photo ops within the attraction!
Magic Shots in Journey of Water
Right now you can grab multiple Magic Shots from Disney PhotoPass Service to add to your Memory Maker. Magic Shots are SUCH fun surprises, and these new Moana shots are perfect, especially for fans of the movie.
First, be sure to get a Magic Shot with Ocean! You can definitely channel your inner Moana with this one!
It is available at two locations within the attraction. Ask for it from the Disney PhotoPass photographer stationed by Te Fiti. Or you can find it at the entrance of Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana.
While you are there, you can also grab Magic Shot with Maui in bird form. You’re welcome! It is also available from the Disney PhotoPass photographer stationed by Te Fiti and at the entrance of Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana.
Finally, be sure to pose with the Kakamora! These little ones make a perfect surprise shot. This one is only available from the Disney PhotoPass photographer stationed by Te Fiti in Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana.
