How to Meet Rare Disney World Characters Now

Disney After Hours

The Disney After Hours events are back in 2024! Do you wish you could experience even more magic and adventure in less time? With a ticket to the Disney After Hours event at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can do just that.

Hollywood Studio After Hour Events take place on select nights between January and April.

Guest Perks

At the Disney After Hours event, you can enjoy ice cream novelties, popcorn, and select bottled beverages, all included in the cost of your ticket. These treats are available at carts stationed throughout the park. This is the standard offering for all After Hours events, making them “After Hours” events versus parties or other special-ticketed events.

During the After Hours event, you can enjoy complimentary snacks, drinks, entertainment, and lower wait times!

During the Disney After Hours event, guests visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios can enjoy exciting nighttime entertainment, including Fantasmic! and Disney Movie Magic. In front of the Chinese Theatre, guests can enjoy the Wonderful World of Animation.

In addition, Disney’s ticketed events offer lower wait times to enjoy attractions. We’re happy to announce that guests will have many attractions open during After Hours.

Meeting Characters

Another draw of After Hours events is the opportunity to meet rare characters. This year’s line-up doesn’t disappoint! Check out which characters were out along with their locations.

Look for fan favorites Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse walking around Hollywood Boulevard in their traditional outfits. Then, at Center Stage (in front of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway), you’ll have the opportunity to meet 4 characters.

One line rotates Rafiki and Stitch while the other line rotates Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket. Unfortunately, this means you don’t know who you’ll meet until you reach the character. Expect some of the longest lines here.

At Echo Lake, you’ll find the beloved Duffy along with the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland rotating with Goofy decked out in a snazzy red outfit.

Near the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt show, you’ll find Chip ‘n Dale as Rescue Rangers or Thumper. In addition, Donald Duck rotates with Daisy Duck inside the Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost.

You’ll need to walk to Grand Avenue to meet the next set of characters. First, near the Disney Vacation Club, look for Mary Poppins and Mr. Penguin rotating with Tiana! Then, next to Galaxy’s Edge entrance, you’ll find Jasmine or Pocahontas and Meeko

It’s extra fun meeting characters together! At this event, be sure to meet Pocahontas and Meeko together!

Disney’s Hollywood Studios After Hour event is a great way to meet characters with shorter lines!
