Hollywood Studios opened a new restaurant in 2023. However, it appears they are making some big changes to the menu as we head into 2024. See all the updates here.

Disney offers many dining options for Guests – from popcorn to signature fine dining. One flavor profile Disney loves to incorporate in its dining options is barbecue. It feels like barbecue options are everywhere. And that includes Hollywood Studios.

Roundup Rodeo BBQ is a table-service restaurant located in Toy Story Land. This marks the first table-service restaurant in the land and the second dining location. Woody’s LunchBox opened with the land in 2018.

As you may suspect by the name, this restaurant serves up hearty meats and several flavorful sides. While this is not a character meal, it is prix fixe. That means you pay one price and receive as many plates as you desire. Pricing is $45/adult ages 10 and up and $25/child ages 3-9.

Here is a look at the menu when it opened (and has remained that way for the rest of the year)

  • Prospector’s Homemade Cheddar Biscuits served with sweet pepper jelly
  • Three salads: the Rootin’ Tootin Tomato Salad, Wheezy’s Watermelon Salad, and Rex’s Romaine and Kale Salad.
  • Entree selections: platter of house-smoked meats including ribs, beef brisket, sausage, and BBQ chicken OR the plant-based trio with cauliflower with Harissa drizzle and walnut gremolata, plant-based bratwurst, and plant-based rib chop
  • Sides: potato salad, loaded potato barrels, veggie slaw, fried pickles, roasted vegetables, mac & cheese, baked beans, and corn on the cob.
  • Desserts: lemon and blueberry cheesecake, apple pix, chocolate silk pie, peach-strawberry pie, or the cupcake a la Forky (a chocolate cupcake with graham cracker, buttercream, and sugar cookie)

The menu is much smaller now. First, Disney removed the romaine and kale salad off the menu. Then, regular potato barrels replaced loaded potato barrels.

The fried pickles, potato salad, roasted vegetables are all off the menu as well. This leaves only a few side dish choices. As a reminder, Roundup Rodeo BBQ lets you pick four side dishes (although usually they are accommodating if you want to ask for different sides the second time around).

My (Monica) family was a fan of the fried pickles, so this is a bit disappointing for us. For your future visit to Roundup Rodeo, remember you now have a few less choices to make. The price remains $45/adult and $25 for children.

If you need help planning your Disney vacation and choosing which restaurants to eat at, I’m here to help! Please fill out this form and put my name (Monica) in the Special Request box.
