Holidays at Disney World
The Thanksgiving holiday crowds are heading to Walt Disney World this week, and the parks are ready for the holiday season. As the final Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party ended on November 1st, crews worked throughout the night to transform the Magic Kingdom for Christmas.
Now Christmas decorations are carefully hung throughout all four Walt Disney World theme parks. Walt Disney World Resorts are also beautifully decorated for the holidays.
Guests can also enjoy great holiday overlays for select attractions throughout Walt Disney World.
Overlay Extended
For the holiday season, the guest-favorite attraction Jungle Cruise receives a fun holiday overlay. This overlay transforms the Jungle Cruise into the Jingle Cruise for guests.
Guests are invited to, “Join the homesick Jungle Cruise skippers as they set out on a holly, jolly journey packed with silly shenanigans.” I (Donna) personally enjoy this attraction at night to enjoy all of the great Christmas lights throughout the attraction.
Guests first enjoyed this holiday overlay on November 3rd. Since that time, Jingle Cruise has held high wait times, but we have good news for you! Jingle Cruise will delight guests until January 8th. That’s right, you can enjoy this great overlay just a little longer.
Jingle Cruise overlay will continue through January 8, 2024.
