This Holiday Dining Event Costs How Much?

Disney just announced a first-of-its-kind dining event with rare characters, delicious dining, and spectacular fireworks views. However, the price may be a bit staggering even for Disney standards. Do you think this is worth the price?

Busy Holiday Season

It is true that Walt Disney World is extra magical this time of year. So much so that huge crowds of guests will visit now until the first of the New Year. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is in full swing and dates continue to sell out for this event.

Unfortunately, some Guests are finding out they cannot make park passes for Magic Kingdom because of busy holiday crowds. Although Disney makes more park passes available at times, it’s a good idea to secure them as soon as you book your vacation.

This is especially important during busier times of the year. Along with this, many guests enjoy booking exclusive dining events to secure reserved seating for entertainment.

New Dining Event

Many guests love to welcome in the New Year at Walt Disney World and enjoy the exclusive “Fireworks In The Sky” fireworks display. Now, guests can enjoy beautiful views of this fireworks show from California Grill.

Disney just announced a new dining event for New Year’s Eve, “Alice’s Whimsical World of Wonderland.” This will be held in California Grill which is located on the 15th floor of Disney’s Contemporary.

Immerse yourself in the whimsical surroundings of California Grill—transformed into an immersive romp through Wonderland. Guests can see The Doorknob in the entryway. Alice, The Mad Hatter, and The March Hare will greet guests throughout the Dining Room.

You may also get a chance to wave hello to Dinah the Hat Lady—but beware of the Queen of Hearts! It will surely be a merry party, complete with custom-crafted cocktails.

Guests can enjoy a DJ and champagne to toast in the New Year. Buffet stations will include chilled appetizers, wood-burning pizzas, sushi, hot seafood, grill and rotisserie dishes, and over-the-top desserts.

A large ice sculpture will also be on display themed for the 2024 celebration at the Contemporary Resort.

Pricing and Booking

This sounds like an incredible evening, but it comes with a fairly hefty price tag. This evening is priced at $799 per person (including tax and gratuity.) Full payment is due a the time of booking. Guests can make reservations by calling (407)824-2013.

Guests can check in for this event at 7:00 pm with the event starting at 7:30 pm until 12:30 am on December 31, 2023.
