Disney’s 100th anniversary
It was all started with two brothers and a dream. On October 16, 1923 Walt and Roy Disney signed a four page document which established The Walt Disney Company.
It sure has been a wonderful 100 years of magical storytelling! We here at Kenny the Pirate are very much looking forward to whatever Disney has in store for us in the future.
To mark this special milestone, Disney fans have been celebrating all year at Disney Parks and at home!
Happy Meal Toys
To celebrate the 100th anniversary, Disney released special Disney100 Happy Meal toys at McDonald’s locations across the country. Approximately 60 Disney characters are up for collection!
Each Happy Meal comes with 2 characters, so you’ll only need to purchase 30 Happy Meals (and hope none are repeats!) to collect them all. I see Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar, and Disney characters in this collection.
Even the star from Disney’s new film, Wish is part of the collection!

Not only are these fun toys to play with, but they also interact on your mobile device. Plus, if you head over to the McDonald’s Happy Meal website, you can also download some activity sheets.
The toys officially land today, October 31 and will only be around until December 4. Get them while you can!
