Disney fans can’t get enough of the Haunted Mansion attraction. And now Disney gives guests a unique new way to celebrate all of the fun ghosts at Haunted Mansions around the world. Check out how you can be a part of this experience soon.
New Storyline
Disney shared that they are creating a new storyline soon. This new lounge’s story introduces a captain who becomes a ghostly figure after a deadly dinner with his finance. Theming includes Disneyland’s original 1969 version including the wonderfully creepy purple wallpaper, mantel clock with the 13th hour, and the iconic chair.
But that’s not all, be sure and check out the beloved hitchhiking ghosts while you visit here, too. Guests will enjoy newly created music arranged by Shruti Kumar.
You’ll be sure to sing these songs just like the Disney Haunted Mansion attraction tunes around the world.
Haunted Mansion Parlor
This is the first lounge ever receiving a Haunted Mansion theme! Disney shared that there will be “legendary characters from Haunted Mansion attractions at Disney Parks around the world, as well as new seafaring arrivals” that will come out to socialize. Here, you’ll see the portrait gallery inside a wonderful drawing room paying tribute to classic cruise liners.

And the drinks are part of the fun too! At the Haunted Mansion Parlor, you can sip on a Margarita version featuring smoke, ube-flavored fudge, oat milk, tapioca pearls topped with gummy eyeballs.
If you prefer non-alcoholic drinks, then try Sympathetic Libations with blood orange and strawberry flavors.
The Haunted Mansion Parlor will be a part of Disney’s Treasure Cruise Ship being built now. This ship is scheduled to set sail in December 2024. Here’s a virtual walk through of the lounge:

Onboard the Disney Treasure, an exclusive new merchandise collection that will offer the following exclusive merchandise:
- The Haunted Mansion Parlor Music Box will be a keepsake inspired by an eerie music box that will be found inside the Haunted Mansion Parlor. As the rumors go, this mysterious box belonged to the captain’s bride-to-be and only opens in the presence of malevolent spirits.
- Inspired by the old grandfather clock from the original Disney Parks attraction, the Haunted Mansion Parlor clock is a fun souvenir.
- And The Haunted Mansion Parlor Mirror will offer a frightening surprise when the hitchhiking ghosts mysteriously appear in the frame.
