Holidays at Disney World are even more magical! It is one of the very most popular times of the year to visit. Families are off of school and work. The weather is not as dreadfully hot and festive decorations and activities surround you.

Special Events
At Disney World we have two special events to look forward to: the return of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and the debut of Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
With Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party beginning to wind down, many guests are starting to plan for the holidays! We know Halloween is not even anywhere near close, but the spooky activities at Walt Disney World have been in full swing since August. With all of the Halloween Parties now SOLD OUT, guests are looking towards Disney’s next special event.
Hurry because dates for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party are already beginning to sell out!
Jollywood Nights
Disney Jollywood Nights is a new, separately ticketed event at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort from 8:30 p.m.–12:30 a.m. on select nights from November 11 through December 20, 2023. Tickets are on sale now, and we have a feeling these will sell out.
It’s a holiday vibe like you’ve never before experienced. Sights of sparkling décor, sounds of modern beats over classic holiday songs, tastes of craft cocktails, and decadent dishes. It’s nostalgic, and it’s glitz and glam galore.
One of the most exciting parts about Jollywood Nights is that the nighttime spectacular, Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! is returning!
Fireworks Testing
Disney is now making preparations for the return of Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Beginning October 10th and through November 10th, guests at area resorts might hear some fireworks testing taking place after hours.
Fireworks testing for Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! will take place from October 10th through November 10th.
Fireworks testing is expected to take place on the following dates:
- Wednesday, October 11 through 12
- Sunday, October 15 through 16
- Monday, October 23 through 24
- Tuesday, October 24 through 25
- Thursday, November 9 through 10.
Audio testing is not expected. If you are at any of the resorts near Hollywood Studios, you might hear or see some testing taking place those nights! Testing is expected to begin a little after 11:30 pm and into the next hour.
