New Movie
There have been a string of several Disney and Pixar films that left many Disney fans wanting more. However, as new details emerge for Wish our excitement grows.
Wish, which was originally announced in 2022, explores the idea of how the wishing star, the one that multiple Disney characters have wished upon over the years, came to be. It is a concept that seems perfect for a film from Disney Animation Studios.
At its center is a girl called Asha who, desperate to save her home, turns to the stars themselves. When she makes a wish, a cosmic force named “Star” comes to help her. The duo faces off against what is promised to be a formidable villain!
IT WILL DEBUT IN THEATERS ON NOVEMBER 22, 2023.
In the Parks
Earlier this month at the D23 event, Josh D’Amaro confirmed Asha from the movie will be arriving at Epcot, Disneyland Resort, and Disneyland Paris for meet and greets. We love seeing characters come to life in the parks!
At this time, we do not have a date. However, this will likely coincide with the movie’s debut in November 2023.
ASHA WILL APPEAR AT EPCOT, DISNEYLAND RESORT, AND DISNEYLAND PARIS.
New Poster and Trailer
With less than two months to go until the debut of Wish in theaters, Disney is releasing a brand new poster and trailer! Above you can see the new movie poster. The poster reads “Be careful what you wish for.”
