New Toys Have landed at McDonald’s

By now, your local Mcdonald’s should have already started distributing new Happy Meal toys. Although Happy Meals are marketed toward kids, plenty of adults out there are just as eager as children to see what the next wave of fun brings to Mcdonald’s! In fact, sometimes collecting Mcdonald’s Toys even becomes a mission for the whole family to enjoy!

It has been several days since most McDonald’s stores began phasing out the remnants of the recent run of Elemental Toys. A new line is making its run. We have the details for you here. The Marvels Happy Meal Toys

Right now, Mcdonald’s is giving out toys from The Marvels WAY ahead of its theatrical release. The film is the sequel to Captain Marvel, and it debuts on November 10, 2023 (maybe).

There are 8 toys available, and all of them are compatible with your mobile device. You can collect Captain Marvel, Photon, Ms. Marvel, Nick Fury, Goose, Prince Yan, Princess Carol, and Dar-Benn.

It may seem a little odd that Mcdonald’s would have the toys so far ahead of the release date considering that most toys, like the recent Elemental, Little Mermaid, and Guardians of the Galaxy collections coincided with the debut of their respective films.

But, remember that the original release date for the Marvels was July 28 until Disney did a little bit of shifting. So, this release seems to mirror a different timeline. Ah, but dynamic timelines are completely in keeping with Marvel, aren’t they?

What’s NEXT for Happy Meals

Now the real question is, what’s next? If you caught the short-lived McDonald’s Squishmallow Happy Meal teaser prior to the sudden switch over to Elemental Toys, you may be scouring posts about Happy Meals trying to dig up information on them. Well, we have a quick tidbit for you.

Squishmallow Toys have allegedly been spotted in Happy Meals in Canada. However, there is no word on when they will show up in the US other than a very vague “late 2023” projection.

For now, we have to be satisfied with The Marvels months ahead of the movie premiere. Meanwhile, Haunted Mansion just dropped in theatres, which seems like a missed Happy Meal opportunity! But, perhaps Haunted Mansion toys will materialize soon too, closer to the movie’s original August 10th release date.
