Disney Hotels

Disney hotels are known for their theming, activities, and food! Staying at a Disney hotel can have many perks, things like early entry, complimentary transportation to the parks and even late park hours for select Guests.

I (Heather) always love staying in the Disney bubble (aka Disney property), but sometimes hotels are booked up or you can find a much better deal offsite. Check out my review of staying off property HERE.

Hotel Activities

One thing Disney hotels have over offsite hotels is activities. Disney has Cast Members who entertain Guests at each hotel. These activities include things like tie dying, dance parties, Movies Under the Stars, and other fun games. Some of these activities are complimentary while other do have a fee.

You and your family will not be bored if you lay low and have a resort day. My family participated in the Halloween activities on Halloween night at Wilderness Lodge. All of the kids had so much fun, they never missed trick-or-treating!

Campfire

Each Disney hotel offers a campfire for Guests to enjoy each night. At these campfires, Guests can partake in roasting s’mores. Most resorts now have Mickey-shaped S’more Kits! Check out the picture above.

Most resorts now have Mickey-shaped S’more Kits!

These kits include Mickey shaped graham crackers, dark chocolate and an artisan marshmallow with notes of vanilla and honey. I personally think any food taste better when it’s shaped like Mickey! I can’t wait to try these on my next visit.

Have you seen these at the Disney Resort hotels yet? Will you be stopping by your Resort’s campfire on your next visit to get a Mickey-shaped s’more? Let us know in the comments below and be sure to share this post with a friend.
