A new treat is heading to Disney. It will hit the parks tomorrow, and you will not want to miss this one.

Connections Cafe

Connections Cafe & Eatery is a great place to stop if you need to refuel while you are visiting EPCOT in Walt Disney World. It is part Starbucks Cafe and part Disney Quick-Service Eatery. You will find it located in World Celebration, near Creations Shop. You can read a review here.

The idea of the cafe is that it brings people together around the common unifier of food.  Now, there is a NEW treat to bring Guests together.

A New Treat!

Starting tomorrow, Tuesday, June 6, 2023, Connections Café at EPCOT will be offering a delicious 15-layer treat called Baumkuchen! If you are wondering, “What on EARTH is that?” you are not alone! Translated, Baumkuchen means “tree cake” (Baum-tree; kuchen-cake).

This traditional German dessert is named such because it is made from many, many tiny layers. From above, it resembles the cross-section of a tree. If you have ever looked at the rings on a tree, you may see the resemblance this cake bears.

One thing is for sure, with 15 layers of delectable goodness, this new dish is sure to be a treat! Or, should we say “TREEt”?
