There is a new Bluey Music video, and it has some people feeling joyful, but it has some people reaching for the tissue box. Watch and see which emotion it stirs in you.
Bluey
Anyone who has been around young children over the past few years has likely at least heard of Bluey. For those who are not in the know, Bluey is a smash-hit children’s TV series streaming on Disney+. This amazing cartoon comes to viewers all the way from Australia. The show follows the day-to-day lives of two blue heeler pups, sisters Bingo and the title character Bluey, and their interactions with parents Bandit and Chilli as they spend their days finding bits of magic in the mundane.
Each episode of Bluey is only 6 to 7 minutes long, yet each one packs an endless amount of quality messaging into such a small space. Adults and children alike giggle, laugh, and sometimes even cry as the sweet and often deeply emotional stories unfold. This is a show that the whole family can enjoy!
Rain
Rain is one of the Episodes that came to Disney+ recently along with its first wave of Season 3 Bluey content. This is a distinct episode for several reasons.
For one thing, it is one of the only Bluey Episodes where Bingo and Bluey do not read the title. For another, it has fewer words than any other episode with a grand total of 9, spoken within the first moments. The remainder of the episode is a bit Fantasia-like in that it relies completely on music (the instrumental track called Rain) and animation.
During Rain, Bluey is set on a game of stopping the rain from the gutter from making it down the driveway. The story begins as her Mum becomes frustrated by this play and its muddy, messy consequences. However, in a moment of clarity, she joins the play, and the rest unfolds from there.
Official Bluey TV shared the new music video Rain (Boldly in the Pretend). It utilizes snippets of the episode beautifully. You can see it right here in the post.
The New Bluey Music Video
You can find this song Rain (Boldly in the Pretend) on the new Bluey: Dance Mode album. The Bluey Music Team collaborated with artist Jazz D’Arcy’ to bring this song to life.
You will notice members of the Bluey Band in the video including Youka, Daniel, Andrew, Julia, Bob, and Marly. If you have a keen eye, you might even spot a special appearance from Dan Brumm (the for-real-life Uncle Stripe).
If you find you like a mixture of Bluey and Jazz D’Arcy, you are in luck as she is on the album 3 times. In addition to this track and the instrumental version of Rain, she also worked on Copycat.
Do you know someone who needs to see this video? Remember to pass this post along. Also, let us know, which emotion the video brought up for you. Was it nostalgia, joy, or something else? Did the rain get on your cheeks? Feel free to share in the comments.
