A New Droid

A new droid is strolling into Disney retail locations! Now, you can bring home your very own BD Unit!

In case you are unfamiliar with these little droids, BD Units are companion droids used primarily by researchers and explorers who were operating alone in the field. They were designed to be assistants to their masters and to perform tasks in remote and dangerous locations across the galaxy. They were built to be able to take on all types of terrain with ease.

BD Units are relatively new to Star Wars canon. A BD Unit first appeared in 2019 in a video game called Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. However, one made its live-action debut soon on The Book of Boba Fett. You can see it in The Book of Boba Fett Chapter 5: Return of the Mandalorian.

Right now, you can find BD units for sale in Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Tatooine Traders and Keystone Clothiers. His cost is $109.99 in the parks. You can use your Annual Passholder and DVC discounts on this droid.

This is not the type of droid that you can build at Droid Depot. It comes pre-assembled and prepackaged. It comes with a remote control for you to operate it.
