A few months ago Disney confirmed the beloved Happily Ever After fireworks show will return on April 3, 2023, to replace the current Enchantment nighttime spectacular. The show will feature brand new projections down Main Street, U.S.A. The first showtime will be at 9:00 pm.

Be dazzled by Happily Ever After, a fireworks extravaganza that captures the heart, humor, and heroism of favorite Disney stories. Watch in wonder as Cinderella Castle is magically transformed with color, light, and dramatic effects—to the tune of a soaring score featuring contemporary versions of beloved Disney songs.

Earlier, we shared that there are new ways to enjoy Happily Ever After. Be sure to check out these special parties HERE.

In September 2021, guests could enjoy a special view of the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the Seven Seas Lagoon. The Ferrytale Desert and Fireworks Cruise allow guests to board a Disney ferryboat and enjoy a great spread.

This includes “a stellar selection of bite-size signature treats, from KABOOM! Cupcakes and Rocket Burst Popcorn Push-Ups to Red Velvet Wow! Pie and Grand Finale Key Lime Tarts. You can even Build Your Own Mousse. All this alongside a bevy of specialty drinks—either with or without alcohol—themed to the sparkling, shooting stars of the fireworks.”

The Walt Disney World website now states that this experience will close on March 30th and remain closed until July 5th. An extended refurbishment is a cause for the closure. Perhaps this is due to the return of Happily Ever After. This is a bit disappointing for guests hoping to enjoy the return of Happily Ever After on the Seven Seas Lagoon.
