Same great Star Wars experience but with much different pricing. A big price DECREASE is now in place at only one Disney Park. Do you think we could see a decrease at other parks as well?
Price Increases
Price increases have been seen quite a bit over the last several months from the gas station to the grocery store. At Disney World, we saw price increases for almost everything. From annual passes to day tickets, we are paying more for a Disney vacation.
Last October, Disney made announcements that price increases were coming all across the Disney Parks. Among these announcements, we saw big price increases at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland.
Big Price Increases at Galaxy’s Edge
At the Droid Depot, guests are invited to assemble their own custom-made droid, “one of the galaxy’s most indispensable sidekicks.” This is a unique experience where Guests can choose to either build a BB-series or an R-series.
You can check out a full review HERE and a review from a child’s perspective HERE. Previously the price for this experience was $99.99, plus tax. This experience received a big increase to $119.99 for the same products.
Similarly, guests hoping to make a custom lightsaber at Savi’s Workshop also had a bit of sticker shock. This awesome experience to build your own custom lightsaber was once offered at the high price of $219.99. This experience also received a price increase to $249.99.
Now we finally see a decrease in pricing, but not at all of the Disney Parks.
Decrease in Prices
Yesterday, January 26, 2023, the Disneyland website shared updated pricing for both Savi’s Workshop and Droid Depot. The prices are now modified for both of the experiences to the previous pricing.
Now at Disneyland, Savi’s Workshop offers custom-built light sabers for $219.99 and Droid Depot is offered at $99.99. Unfortunately, these prices are not the same on the Walt Disney World website.
The pricing remains the same for both experiences on the Walt Disney World website with Savi’s Workshop at $249.99 and Droid Depot at $119.99.
