Every day, guests around the world are thrilled with Disney parades. In fact, for many, it’s the highlight of their day. And Disney takes every precaution to keep them running smoothly.
Cast members clear the way before and during the parade to ensure safe travel for the floats and parade participants. At every Disney theme park, safety of cast members and guests comes first. But what if something go wrong?
Guest Incident
During yesterday’s “Disney Christmas Stories” parade, a Tokyo Disneyland guest did a dangerous thing. They chose to be the center of attention as the parade approached.
While many guests enjoyed the parade, one guest decided to jump right in front of it! A male guest ran directly into the route, nearly running into one of the parade performers. Then, this guy plopped himself down on the pavement right in the middle of the route. This is especially dangerous because the first float was approaching him.

However, several cast members quickly removed him from the parade’s path. After being forcibly tackled by cast members, he was escorted out of the theme park.
Although the parade was delayed, it continued after cast members made sure the path was clear and timing was back on track for performances. If you see a guest performing a dangerous act to himself or others, please report it to a cast member immediately.
