Give Kids The World Village is one of the recent Disney grant recipients and a crucial part of the Wish Granting efforts here at Walt Disney World Resort. It provides a place for Wish families to create priceless memories together. All event proceeds will help make magical wishes come true for critically ill children and their families from around the world. This wonderful charity is the one that makes the wishes come true!

Night of a Million Lights started in 2020 and transforms Give Kids The World’s fun storybook village into a colorful winter wonderland. Guests immerse themselves in an elaborately decorated fairytale neighborhood.

At Night of a Million lights, guests will be treated to a 360-degree dancing lights show, explore a sparkling tree trail, and view larger-than-life holiday displays.  Be sure to check out Susan’s full review of this event HERE.

Earlier we shared that due to operating at full capacity, Give Kids the World would discontinue hosting Night of a Million Lights this year. We loved that they are not at full capacity, but we were a bit disappointed that this wonderful Christmas spectacular would be missing this year.

You can now enjoy Night of a Million Lights in a new location this year. “From November 11, 2022, through January 1, 2023, Island H2O Water Park in Kissimmee, FL, will be transformed into a dazzling winter wonderland featuring millions of lights, luminous displays, festive family activities, and live entertainment for a one-of-a-kind, fully immersive holiday experience.”

Guests can enjoy performances by “Dueling Pianos Jingle and Jangle”, the strolling a cappella group “Santa’s Dancing Reindeer”, and DJ Jack Frost will entertain guests at the Ice Block Party.

This event will be even better than ever. A light show will be displayed on a five-story waterslide. There is an interactive children’s holiday activities space. Of course, you can’t miss out on a visit with Santa.

“It has been a privilege to welcome in the public for a glimpse into our storybook Village during the holidays the past two years. However, in order to preserve the life-changing experience we provide to wish families as increased numbers of guests are able to visit, we have made the decision to move Night of a Million Lights off-site – and truly appreciate Island H2O Water Park’s generosity, hospitality and support,” said Give Kids The World President & CEO Pamela Landwirth.
