Phased Reopening
It is great news that Disney world is gradually returning to normal operations. Today they have modified park hours. Disney is offering an amazing perk with these hours today for on site guests. Check those out HERE.
Disney has also shared when closed resorts should expect to reopen. However, one resort does not have a reopening date at this time. Be sure to read all those details HERE.
Disney Transportation has resumed operations today. They are encouraging guests to use their own personal transportation to get to the parks! Check that information out HERE.
Experiences Closed
Even though Disney World is getting back to normal, some experiences had not yet reopened. Check out the list below of when you can expect these experiences to return:
- Tour experiences at Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park scheduled for Friday, September 30 are cancelled
- Winter Summerland Miniature Golf and Fairways Miniature Golf remain closed at this time
- ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex will be open today from 5:00 to 8:00 pm for their scheduled events
Reopening Galactic Starcruiser
The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser was one of the experiences that was closed due to Hurricane Ian. It will resume operations with voyages departing on Saturday, October 1st!

Reopening Typhoon Lagoon
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park will remain closed today and tomorrow. It has a planned reopening for Sunday, October 2nd.

Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park will remain closed as it is currently closed for the season.
